"Every tiniest detail of the Giralda in Seville within your reach. ..."

Every tiniest detail of the Giralda in Seville within your reach. Our virtual visit offers the chance to see, at your own pace and item by item, every single part of the famous bell-tower in Seville's monumental cathedral. This interactive tool makes it possible to view the old Arab minaret in amazing detail from close up, and with an exceptional image quality.

The Giralda is one of the most emblematic monuments in the city of Seville, and you now have the chance to discover all its details through our virtual tour. You can climb up to the top until you are face-to-face with the popular figure of the 'Giraldillo', the bronze Renaissance sculpture which crowns the top. Did you know that it represents the ideal of 'Faith victorious', and that it is in fact a weathervane?

This virtual visit enables you to discover the outstanding beauty of the Mudéjar decoration on the exterior: the delicate placement of each brick, its lobed arches, the ornamentation on its capitals... You'll also have the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny of the bell-tower, both inside and out. And from this height, you'll also be able to enjoy some outstanding views over the historic centre of Seville, with views of places such as the Real Alcázar palace, Plaza de España square and the Maestranza bullring. You can even access some parts of the cathedral, such as the roofs near the tower and the façade giving onto the Plaza del Triunfo square.

This is a wholly interactive tour where in each scene you decide what you want to see, and when and how you want to see it, as well as when to move and where to go next. This has been made possible through a painstaking technical labour of digitisation involving over 16,000 high-resolution images. Some of the scenes can be enlarged to a definition of 6,400%.
