"Boredom is forbidden. ..."

Boredom is forbidden. With this in mind, every summer thousands of fibers from all over the world flood the streets of Benicàssim, just 12 kilometres from the city of Castellón, in the heart of the Costa del Azahar. Over several days you can enjoy an innovative, up to date programme that includes top artists on the international scene, playing live on the various stages and tents in the 100,000 square metre site of FIB. No doubt, this is as unmissable event for music fans.

FIB goes much further than its musical programme, however. Competitions (such as Proyecto Demo or Un-Pop Classik), dance shows, theatre (FIB-actúa ), courses for cultural expansion, exhibitions of contemporary art (FIB-Art) and shorts (FIB International Shorts Festival) are other artistic disciplines to be found at an event which, furthermore, serves as a platform for expression and as a launch pad for new and young talent. This creative climate can be found throughout the town, which gets fully involved in this event whose following grows from year to year, and where good atmosphere, tolerance and camaraderie reign above all.

This unique atmosphere is especially apparent in the festival's camping areas. This is where the fibers rest and recover their strength, albeit for just a few hours. In addition, the FIB site also has a market where you can find records, clothes, accessories, hairdressing, tattoos, body piercing and restaurants, as well as health care stations.

This is just one part of what Benicàssim has to offer during FIB. Make the most of your visit to FIB and discover a destination whose main protagonists are endless beaches, sunshine, good weather and a host of leisure options. This is, without doubt, a unique experience not to be missed.
