Manuela is a single mother that adores her son Esteban. He dies run over on the day of his seventeenth birthday. Manuela, depressed, decides to go to Barcelona to find the father of her son, whom she left before Esteban was born. To do so, she counts on the help of her old friend Agrado, now a transvestite.
