It is just another Sunday in Madrid. Police inspector Santos Trinidad gets home drunk and suddenly finds himself involved in a triple murder. One witness manages to escape and Trinidad, to avoid being incriminated, launches an investigation to track him down and get rid of him. Judge Chacón, who is assigned the case, also starts to search for the murderer. They will both end up discovering that what looks like a normal case of drug trafficking is actually a much more dangerous situation.
