Agustín Díaz Yanes's debut as a director is an intense thriller, with extreme characters, which was very successful at the Goya Awards and the San Sebastián International Festival.
 

Gloria is a Spaniard who witnesses the murder of two policemen by two gangsters in a drug dealing operation in Mexico. Before dying, one of the policemen gives her a diary with valuable information on the gang. Gloria is deported to Spain, where she stays in her mother-in-law's house. She spends her time looking for a job and visiting her husband, a bullfighter who is in a coma because he was caught by a bull. However, a ruthless hired killer is following her trail with the aim of getting back the diary.
