This silent film appears particularly modern for the period. It was not released at the time and yet it has images of singular beauty and some outstanding performances.

Carmen and Carlos are sweethearts. Carlos is optimistic and full of vitality, quite the opposite to his friend León, who is pessimistic and taciturn. To cheer him up, Carlos advises León to visit Professor Kamus, who has an invention which reveals the truth of things: 'the sixth sense' What the teacher calls the 'sixth sense' is none other than a film projector. Carmen appears in the film they see, which gives rise to a misunderstanding which will endanger her relationship with Carlos.
