This was an innovative film in its time for its subject matter and narrative technique.

Fernando is an agent recently out of the Police Academy who is impatient to work on a big case. However, they put him on a simple case of garage robberies. While working on the case, through a series of circumstances, he finds himself in the middle of a bank hold-up. He asks his superiors to put him on this case, but they refuse. He then decides to infiltrate the gang of bank robbers on his own behalf.
