This surprising and exquisite silent film in black and white presents an original version of the children's fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm set in the Andalusia of the 1920s.
Snow White is Carmen, the daughter of the most popular bullfighter and singer in Spain in the 1920s. However, tragedy strikes in the shape of a wicked stepmother, Encarna, who makes her young life a torment. Fleeing from her past, the young and lovely Carmen joins a company of dwarf bullfighters who become her new friends. She thus embarks on a thrilling journey filled with adventure, humour and emotion, in which she will discover that life bears no resemblance to fairytales.
