This monstrance has been identified with the one made by the artist in 1592 for the Carmen Extramuros Convent in Valladolid, which was considered lost. It is an example of ideal purity and classicism, which characterise Spanish silverwork at the end of the 16th century.

Processional monstrance, made up of a base, a plinth and three staggered parts, and all of them are hexagonal. The first part holds the paten with the Blessed Sacrament, flanked by two statuettes of St Peter and St Paul. On the bench there is a relief showing different Old Testament stories. The second part holds a statue of the Assumption of the Virgin, and the third one holds a statue of the Risen Christ.
