Work belonging to the series of iron figures, "Escultura infinita", made to be exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1960.

Ferrant explores space and movement with sculpture groups such as "Escultura infinita" (1958-61), a series that he left unfinished because of his death in 1961. It is a sculpture that the artist himself described as interminable, open, in which the onlooker was invited to join in the creative process of its possible developments. The piece is made up of nine units assembled in various ways, so that the sculptural shape is only fixed on each one of the pieces, and the final assembly can have many variants.
