This work by Lope de Vega is written in a notebook, of which the last 96 pages are bound upside down.

This handwritten draft was written between 1631 and 1634 on laid paper notebooks (with watermarks). It belonged to the Duke of Sessa, Lope's patron and the most important collector of his work. The period binding is in parchent and has the following notation in ink on the cover by way of a title: 'Aquí están las églogas' (Herein be the idylls). They contain particularly works of poetry on pastoral themes, in addition to some prose. There are also several unpublished pieces and various fragments of known and published works such as, 'La Dorotea', 'Amarilis' and 'Huerto desecho'...
