This map is considered to be the first made of Majorca, and dates from 1596.

It shows in different colours the mediaeval and Renaissance quarters, as well as the bastions, gates and significant buildings of the Balearic capital. It accompanies a letter from the Viceroy Fernando de Zanoguera of that same year. It was conserved among the correspondence of the Viceroy in the documentary collection of the Council of Aragon, the supreme government institution for the territory of the Crown of Aragon during the modern age through to 1707.
