A narrative work by Luis Mateo Díez examining the conflict between real and imaginary life.
Set in the hard times of the 1950s, the work narrates how a peculiar Fraternity, more interested in esoteric than common aspects of religion, initiates a crazy search for a mythical spring of curative, miraculous waters.
The Fraternity’s adventures make up a story that represents an escape from ordinary life. In consequence, the underlying theme of the work is the confrontation and conflict between real and imaginary life, the struggle between outlandishness and social conventions.
