Soria's past

This museum contains an important selection of archaeological pieces from the entire province.

It presents a panorama of the history of Soria, from Palaeolithic times to the Modern Age. Its exhibits include items from Celtiberian necropolises in Soria and from the Roman archaeological sites of Tiermes (Termes), Uxama and Numancia (Numantia). Highlights of the collection include a set of painted ceramics from Numancia, a medieval Moorish alphabet found in Osma, burial treasures and a variety of indigenous and Roman artefacts.
