The Museum is in buildings adjacent to the Cathedral, exhibiting pieces of religious art from Navarre. Outstanding in the collection are: Romanesque and Gothic statues of the Virgin Mary (12th-15th centuries); precious metalwork; chests, items in ivory and reliquaries, such as the Santo Sepulcro and Lignum Crucis, both dating from the Middle Ages. Together with these objects, visitors will also find examples of painting, namely the Peralta altarpiece by Van Dyck, Renaissance and Baroque carvings and decorative arts.
