From the Palaeolithic era to Rome

The museum is located in two connected buildings: Casa de las Veletas and Casa de los Caballos.

The Casa de las Veletas has a Moorish cistern, while Casa de los Caballos dates from the 16th century. The museum has five rooms devoted to archaeology, so visitors can take a journey through the Palaeolithic, the Copper Age, the Bronze Age, and the pre-Roman and Roman eras. There is also a section dedicated to ethnography. Five more rooms contain displays of domestic items and ceramics.
