One of the, most beautiful sunsets in all of Spain (Toledo).
Built in the lower Middle Ages, it dates back to about the thirteenth century, and has since been almost rebuilt.
Originally it was made entirely of stone. Since then it has had several modifications with new defensive structures added such as the large towers at the sides of the building, one from the thirteenth century and the other that is linked to the city walls dates back to the sixteenth century. This has ensured that the bridge is currently very well preserved. It was declared a national Monument in 1921. It has five arches.
