Built in the XI century on the site of an old mosque. Its frescos some of which have been recently restored are different styles (Romanesque, Gothic, and Renaissance). The motifs of these images are not religious. The exterior of the hermitage is simple masonry. To get to the interior pass through a double, horseshoe arch. The nave has two rectangular bodies and in the centre a wide column that holds up eight radial, horseshoe arches (palm tree). At the root of these arches there is a lantern with little cupola with six crossed ribs in pairs. The choir is accessed by a staircase built into the wall. There is a cave in the background. The hermitage was declared National Monument in 1917.
