The castle is Mudejar.Built in the XII century with square floor plan.There are six circular and rectangular towers with Barbican fortification and interior patio.There are twin, brick windows with pointed horse shoe arches.Located in a wood.A legend has it that here lodged Doña Juana la Loca when her husband died.It belonged to the Catholic Monarchs and also to other gentlemen such as D. Álvaro de Luna, Marquis of Villena, the Zúñiga, and the Dukes of Frías.
