It is located in the medina, the highest part of the city. There are references dating from the 12th century to this building as the main mosque. It was built as a church in the 14th century in the flamboyant Gothic style. The church has three Plateresque doorways: the Puerta del Ángel, the doorway to the chapel of Santa Ana and the Puerta del Perdón.
