Originally a Dominican convent, after the Papal bull of 1569 granted by Pope Pius V it became a university until it was closed in 1824 by the minister Calomarde. The convent is on a rectangular plan. The main façade is austere, with horizontal effects underlined by cornices and only interrupted by window openings and the decoration of the doorways. It divided into three parts, which correspond to the three classical orders. The university doorway is Baroque, and was constructed by Pedro Juan Codoñer. It is made up of two sections crowned by an allegorical figure of Wisdom.
