The heart of the wine country there is a place which harmoniously combines in a perfect assemblage the age-old tradition of the quintessential Mediterranean drink with state-of-the-art modernity.
This winery building stands against the magnificent backdrop of the Sierra de Cantabria mountains, amid broad swathes of vineyards, and in complete harmony with the landscape. It is a supreme symbiosis between functionality, tradition and the avant-garde.
The elongated building basically consists of two concrete bearing walls, 26 m apart, clad on the outside with copperised cedar wood panels, which gives it not only its characteristic colour and warmth, but also the necessary flexibility enabling it to adopt its sinuous silhouette which recalls a row of wine casks.
The roof is made from wooden beams clad in aluminium which follow the undulating surface created by the bearing walls.
