This exhibition at the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum gives a voice to women abstract artists, specifically those working in the 20th and 21st centuries.

It includes around 100 artists working in different disciplines, such as dance, photography, and film, from Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, Europe, and the USA, telling a complex story made up of many voices.

Women in Abstraction offers information never before revealed on the key moments in this movement, and on the individual or collective research carried out by these artists that is so often unfairly neglected. It also takes a look at their most important exhibitions.
