The González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts offers activities for students of different age groups during the academic year

The museum offers both educational guided tours and workshop tours, free of charge, with a maximum capacity of 30 people per group. The different tours are designed for students from 6 to 18 years old, and take about one and a half hours.

The educational tours consist of an interactive guided tour and teaching material designed especially for the activity. Two options have been designed for each age group: one focusing on the palace, and another on the museum’s ceramics collection.

There is also a suggested workshop tour for each age group. In “A zoo in the museum”, created for students aged 6 to 9, children look at the pieces in the museum to discover animals hidden in them. In “From the family workshop to the factory”, groups aged 10 to 13 learn how pottery is made and how it has evolved. Finally, students aged 14 to 18 analyse images of men and women in the museum’s items, in “A matter of gender”.
