Exhibition: Obsessions

If the six members of the artistic collective alCubo have anything in common, it’s ceramics as a means of expression. The exhibition “Obsessions” presents works by these sculptors at the National Ceramics Museum in Valencia.

Lorna Benavides, Carmen Cebrián, Vicente Gascón, Nora Pastor, Pepa A. Arróniz and Pepe del Campo are alCubo. These six sculptors from L'Eliana (Valencia) work with other materials such as wood, stone, steel, copper, glass, paper, and fabric, but clay is undoubtedly their shared artistic territory.

According to the organisers, “Obsessions” is a kind of eclectic journey into this ceramic leitmotif, present in the work of all of them, and connecting the most personal characteristics of each artist.
