The city of Tarragona plays host on its Playa del Miracle beach to a new edition of the International Fireworks Competition, with fireworks companies from around the world taking part.
The competition will fill the skies of Tarragona with light and colour against the beautiful background of the Playa del Miracle beach. It is a great open-air party which more than 60,000 spectators regularly attend. The winner of the competition will also receive the commission for the firework castle in the Santa Tecla fiesta on 23 September.
