Pamplona and its cathedral invite you to discover the origins of the West through this experimental exhibition that takes a journey through various stages in history with the help of the new technologies.
Throughout an area of 4500 m² distributed among the twelve rooms of the Diocesan Museum, visitors can see for themselves the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa, listen to the real voices of the monks of Leire singing their plainsong, or see what the settlers whose archaeological remains are on display were really like.
The itinerary offers a chance to see the cathedral's splendid Gothic cloister, in addition to items such as reliquaries, crosses and images of the Virgin. It also has various electronic devices which enable visitors to view some of the most ancient documents in the cathedral archive (11th to 15th centuries), such as the Hebrew Bible and the Pamplona Breviary.
In addition, the exhibition encourages viewers to reflect on values such as democracy, the rule of law, freedom of conscience, the moral of love, human rights…
