“The Prado in your hands” dynamic visits for people with disabilities

As part of the programme “Prado for everyone”, dynamic visits such as “The Prado in your hands” have been organised, aimed at groups of people with acquired brain injury or multiple sclerosis.

The aim of these sessions is to make part of the museum collection more accessible to people with acquired brain injury and other social groups. As well as offering the opportunity to learn about the collection, this experience seeks to enhance the personal well-being of participants. The activity takes the form of two sessions held in the same week. In the first session, the idea that our hands are capable of performing different functions is developed and, in the second session, a visual analysis of the works is carried out in the form of a dialogue.
