The Spanish National Orchestra and Choir (OCNE) comprises the permanent symphonic-choral music groups of the Ministry of Culture. Its aim is to promote Spanish music and culture.

Both the National Orchestra and National Choir practise and perform at the Madrid headquarters (the National Music Auditorium) and around Spain and overseas on tours and participating at the most important music festivals.
In addition to its seasonal symphonic series, the OCNE performs other musical activities such as one-off concerts, Symphonic September, the Choir Music Series and Young Performers’ Series. It also carried out complementary activities such as film screenings, meetings with composers and an educational project to promote classical music from different perspectives.
