Joan Gracia y Paco Mir
Passeig de Gràcia, 20 1r 2a
Barcelona, Catalonia

Joan Gracia, Paco Mir and Carles Sans have comprised Tricicle since 1979. Its theatre works, seen by millions, are based on everyday gestures and action without words.

The TRICICLE style came out of an era where gestural comedy was resurgent. ‘The minimal comic unit’ is the basis to its dramatic technique. In this way, its stories are always filled with gags and avoid bad taste at all times. Its style is characterised by dynamism, short scenes, frequent character changes, surreal turns... Its themes are based especially on problems from everyday life.
It has taken part in television series, advertising campaigns, opera adaptations, film, theatre productions and radio programmes. In addition, the members have created a second company, Clownic, also known as Tricicle 2 on the overseas market.
