"Fashion brand created by the Andalusian designers José Víctor Rodríguez Caro and José Luis Medina del Corral. It is one of Spain’s most distinctive brands."

José Víctor Rodríguez Caro (Victorio) was born in Palma del Río (Cordoba) in 1950. José Luis Medina del Corral (Lucchino) was born in Seville in 1954. In 1975 both designers joined forces to create the Victorio y Lucchino brand. In 1985 they made the leap from Andalusia to the international scene, taking part in the New York International Fair. Next came the British Designers Fair in London, where they first showed in 1987. Their creations, which are characterised by bright colours and the use of lace and ruffles, have appeared on catwalks in Japan, Germany, Italy and the United States. In 2003, on the occasion of the brand’s 25th anniversary, the Andalusia Contemporary Art Centre organised an exhibition featuring over 200 of their pieces.
