"Actress. She is one of the most charismatic and popular actresses of the Spanish screen."

She was born in Madrid in 1955, the daughter of the director José María Forqué and the writer Carmen Vázquez-Vigo. She began her studies in Psychology, but ultimately switched to Drama. In the early 70s she started her acting career with roles in films directed by her father. In 1984 Pedro Almodóvar included her in the cast of 'What have I done to deserve this?'. In the 80s and 90s she became a well-known face on Spanish screens, appearing mainly in comedies. She has worked with some of the most important directors in Spanish cinema, including Antonio Mercero, Pedro Almodóvar and Luis García Berlanga. She has also had a brilliant career on television and in the theatre.
