" Actress. Daughter and mother of actors, she is part of a family dedicated to performing."

Born in Seville in 1939, her family lived in different Spanish cities during her childhood such as San Sebastián, Barcelona, Seville and Madrid. She studied medicine in Madrid but soon left her degree to work as a catwalk model. Her acting career started when she divorced, moving to Madrid from the Canary Islands and taking small roles in the theatre, film, television and zarzuela operettas. Her popularity came from her involvement in Agustín Díaz Yanes’ debut Nobody Will Speak of Us When We’re Dead. The film was presented at the San Sebastián Festival and she won the Goya Award for best supporting actress for her role, as well as the Actors Union Award.
