"Designer. The first woman to win the National Design Award, which she received twenty years after its creation in 2007."

She was born in Figueres (Girona) in 1959. Encouraged by her sister, she studied at the EINA school and on completing her education, joined the teaching staff there. She began working with Toni Sellés, and in 1983 won her first Laus Award for the image of 'Vinçon', created together with Javier Mariscal, América Sánchez and Fernando Amat. In 1985 she opened her own design studio which merged with AD Associated Designers in the early 1990s. Thus was born Pati Núñez Associats, specialising in corporate and product image and in graphic communication campaigns. Her clients include Cacao Sampaka and System Action, and she has designed the image for the fragrances for such top brands as Loewe and Armand Basi.
