" Classical ballerina. She learnt her basic technique with Víctor Ullate, which would mark her future career."

Born in Zumaia (Guipúzcoa) in 1975, she started studying dance at the age of nine. At age 13, she attended the Thalia de Mentxu Medel Academy in San Sebastián. She moved to Madrid and joined the Víctor Ullate ballet, where she remained until 1994. She coincided here with great dancers such as Tamara Rojo and Ángel Corella. That same year she joined the National Ballet in Marseilles where she was prima ballerina for three years. There, the master of contemporary dance, Roland Petit, created a ballet for her - Cheetah. She was at the San Francisco Ballet from 1997 to 2002, where she was also prima ballerina. She moved to Munich in 2002 to join the Bavaria State Ballet.
