"A theatre director who has received many awards throughout his professional career. The María Guerrero Theatre in Madrid was reopened with one of his works."

Born in February 1959 in Talamanca del Jarama (Madrid), he studied at the Royal Upper School of Dramatic Art in Madrid. In 1908, he founded an independent theatre company. In 1989, he was made director of the Las Rozas Cultural Centre Theatre School (Madrid). He travelled to Cuba twice to take part in the ‘La huella de España’ Festival. His premières took place in the 1990s in Madrid. In 1996 he was named director of the National Drama Centre (CDN) where he premièred several of his works. He directed The Story of a Stairway by Buero Vallejo which inaugurated the reopened María Guerrero Theatre (Madrid) after three years of renovation work.
