In 1992, he moved to Madrid to study at the Víctor Ullate School and two years later he became part of the Víctor Ullate Ballet where he became principal dancer, performing works from the classical and neo-classical repertoire. In 2001, he started to work in the Grand Théâtre de Genève Ballet and the Opéra de Lyon Ballet. He returned to Spain to join the National Dance Company under the direction of Nacho Duato, in 2006.
