He was born in Segovia in 1890, and known for his work with other authors in creating operas and librettos for a large number of zarzuelas. Of particular note is his work in partnership with the dramatist Luis Fernández Sevilla, in writing his most important plays for the theatre. Together with Maestro Sorozábal he composed the popular zarzuela entitled 'La del manojo de rosas'. He died in Madrid on May 16, 1952.

Zarzuela but also an operatic sketch. In this play the maestro and composer Pablo Sorozábal impressively deals with the classic Madrid comedy sketch and updates it to his time.
