"Architect. Together with Ignacio Pedrosa she founded the firm Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos, which has achieved widespread international acclaim."

She was born in Madrid in 1958, and graduated from the Technical School of Architecture in Madrid, where today she teaches in the Architectural Projects Department. She has been visiting professor at the architecture schools of Pamplona and Valencia, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and the University of the Andes (Colombia). In 1990 she founded the firm Paredes Pedrosa Arquitectos, which went on to design a large number of cultural projects, including the Visigoth Museum in Mérida, the Lugo Auditorium, the Universidad Popular Infantil in Gandía and the Museum of the Roman Villa of La Olmeda (Palencia). She has taken part in a number of international exhibitions and in different editions of the Spanish and Ibero-American Architecture Biennials.
