"Fashion designer. She is one of the Spanish designers to have achieved great international success in recent years."

Born in Lerma (Burgos) in 1970, she studied design at the Politécnica University in Madrid. After graduating, she returned to Lerma where she worked in her mother’s dressmaking workshop. Just two years later in 1994, she presented her first collection in Paris, on the Gaudí Catwalk in Barcelona and in New York. In 1995, she presented her work at Madrid Fashion Week. She was chosen Designer of the Year in 1999. In 1997, she was chosen as the only Spanish design representative at London Fashion Week, a city where she has shown her collections for six years in a row. Her simple, practical creations are also bursting with originality and sold in over 37 countries around the globe.
