29/11/2016 - 26/03/2017 - Madrid / Exhibition
The 14 pieces making up the exhibition include the recently-restored sculptures David and Solomon, as well as a male statue-column with a parchment discovered last October in the interior of the cathedral’ south tower. All the exhibited sculptures were removed from their original locations, the west façade and the cathedral choir stalls, in order to be preserved in the Saint James Basilica museum and in various institutions and private collections. The Prado Museum now reunites them on an exceptional basis so that all the visitors can admire them.
